Early intervention for children receiving REM and Model Waiver services

Children who are participating in the REM or Model Waiver programs may receive Infants and Toddlers service coordination through The Coordinating Center in specific localities. Infants and Toddlers is a system of early intervention services delivered through the various local departments of education. The children are aged 0-5 and manifest developmental delays.

In addition to providing service coordination sevices, The Center’s Infants and Toddlers coordinator trains care coordinators and care managers from other organizations in Infants and Toddlers procedures. This training is funded through a grant from the Maryland State Department of Education.
