Millersville, Maryland – The Coordinating Center is excited to announce that Priscilla Lissik from Howard County was recently promoted to Director, Homeless Support Services. As Director, Homeless Support Services, Ms. Lissik provides oversight of service coordination for adults with chronic health care needs who have been impacted by homelessness. “Ms. Lissik is a compassionate leader, who excels at helping people overcome barriers to successful tenancy and to becoming self-sufficient in accessing medical care and community resources. She is our in-house expert on the Housing First model and has extensive knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare. We are very fortunate to have her on our team,” said Sharyn King, BSN, RN, CCM, Senior Vice President, Population Health, Care Management and Service Coordination.
Ms. Lissik has 23 years of experience in social and human services with experience in working with some of Maryland’s most vulnerable populations and has been with The Center since 2005. Prior to working at The Center, Ms. Lissik was a Service Coordinator and Case Manager for several companies, including the Arc of Frederick County and Maricopa Managed Care System. Ms. Lissik has her bachelor’s degree, Psychology from the University of New York at Binghamton.
Anne Conway, MS, BSN, RN from Howard County has been promoted to Director, Health Plan and Hospital Services (HPHS). As Director, HPHS, Ms. Conway will provide oversight of The Center’s growing complex case management and care coordination services for hospitals and health plans, including Managed Care Organizations (MCO). Ms. Conway will also serve as Director, CARES, an innovative program that was developed in partnership with Medicalincs, to improve population health for MCOs.
Ms. Conway brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare administration and clinical operations and has been with The Center since December 2020. “Ms. Conway is a talented administrator, a leader and a trusted advisor who is skilled at building relationships with patients, families, colleagues and funders. She excels at performance improvement projects, resulting in positive outcomes for our customers. She is also a regulatory expert with high-stakes experience that supports our organizational efforts to meet and/or exceed all pertinent regulatory and accreditation requirements,” said, R. Colby Bearch, MA-M, MA-SF, BA, RN, CDONA, Chief Operating Officer, The Center. “I too have been impressed with Anne. She has been proactive in seeking growth opportunities since starting with The Center. Her depth and breadth of experience, combined with her passion for our patients along with her superior leadership skills, makes Anne an invaluable asset to her teams and the organization,” said Ms. Karen Twigg, Vice President, Population Health, Community Health, The Center.
Ms. Conway has a master’s degree in Clinical Research Management from the University of Maryland, School of Nursing and is a licensed Registered Nurse. Prior to joining The Coordinating Center, Ms. Conway served as Vice President, Care Management for HSCSN, before which she served as Interim Director for Coordination Plus for the HSC Pediatric Center.

Ms. Twigg comes to The Center with significant experience in Population Health, including, change management, person-centered care, quality assurance and risk management. She possesses a proven track record of strong leadership and innovative management within the Population Health sector that yields successful results and high-quality patient outcomes. With her leadership, The Center will continue to be a leader in complex case management and care coordination services for hospitals, health plans and physician practices.” said, Mr. Bearch.
As Vice President, Population Health, Community Health, Ms. Twigg will continue to provide oversight and direction of The Center’s work with hospitals, physician practices, managed care organizations and other payers. Under Ms. Twigg’s leadership, The Center launched the CARES Program in partnership with Medicalincs and another new initiative, VIPhysicians&Kids, a medical home and care coordination services program for children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN). “VIPhysicians&Kids has expanded rapidly under Ms. Twigg’s direction. Thanks to her leadership, The Center has received funding from the Maryland Department of Health’s Office for Genetics and People with Special Health Care Needs and the Maryland Community Health Resources Commission to expand the program to rural Maryland, in partnership with the Maryland Rural Health Association,” said Mr. Bearch. VIPhysicians&Kids serves CYSHCN at Greenspring Pediatric Associates, Watchemsprout Pediatrics, the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics Division, the Pediatric Sickle Cell Program at The Herman & Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai Hospital and is in the process of onboarding Dundalk Pediatric Associates, Children’s Medical Group in Cumberland and the Choptank Community Health System on the Eastern Shore.
Ms. Twigg has more than 35 years of experience in health care, skilled in healthcare management, patient safety, home care, healthcare information technology, acute care and case management and care coordination services and has been with The Center since July 2019. Ms. Twigg is on the Board of Directors for Corsica River Mental Health Services, where she serves as Board Secretary and is a Committee Member for the Maryland Chapter American Case Management Association’s Education Committee and the Maryland Rural Health Association’s Legislative Committee. Ms. Twigg also serves as a director at-large and co-chair of the Finance Committee for the Maryland DC Society of Healthcare Risk Managers.
Prior to The Center, Ms. Twigg held both clinical and administrative positions at the Calvert Health Medical Center, the University of Maryland Medical System Shore Medical Center at Chestertown, and the Johns Hopkins Home Care Group. Ms. Twigg has presented on and received recognition for her development of innovative programs targeting avoidable readmission reduction, improving provision of quality care, and aligning patient advocacy with fiscal accountability. In addition, she is involved in various healthcare-related coalitions and associations, including the Maryland Association of Health Care Executives. Ms. Twigg received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salisbury University and a Master of Science in Management from Wilmington University.
